For the convenience of our members and interested individuals,
we have Chapters of the Society in various communities on
Vancouver Island. All of the Chapters hold area meetings as well
as various fundraising events throughout the year. For

Campbell River Chapter Information

- The Campbell River Chapter is a 100% volunteer group not affiliated with any other agencies (government or other).
- Monthly meetings are held the fourth Wednesday of the month except for December, July and August. Informal coffee meetings are held on the second Wednesday of the month all year long. Please phone a contact person for times and location.
- Campbell River’s ‘Walk for Hearts”, our main fund raiser, is held the first Sunday in May. All funds raised stay in Campbell River to provide support for local cardiac patients and their families, to provide cardiac equipment for the Campbell River Hospital and to assist with cardiac training for Campbell River Hospital nurses and technicians. As of May 30th, 2011, Two Hundred and Fifty Thousand Dollars has been raised for these causes.
